Your garage stays on your device and your private iCloud. The manual assistant sends your questions to our secure server to answer from official documentation.
Your garage, on your device
Motorcycles, photos, maintenance and shopping lists are stored locally and, if you enable it, synced through your private iCloud account (CloudKit). We have no access to your iCloud content.
Manual assistant & catalog
When you ask the assistant or browse the parts catalog, your question and the relevant bike model are sent to our secure server, which returns an answer grounded in official documentation. Please avoid including personal information in your questions.
Purchases
Premium is handled by the App Store through StoreKit. Payment details are processed by Apple; we never have access to them.
No ads, no tracking
KTMechanic contains no ads, no third-party trackers and no behavioral analytics. No data is ever sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Most of your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud. You can view, edit or delete it at any time from within the app, and erase everything by removing the app and its iCloud data. For any data request (GDPR), please contact us.

We may update this privacy policy. Any change will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
